Civa Friulano Biele Zôe Cuvée 85/15 2023

A classic white wine from the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, this Friulano comes from vineyards on “ponca” soils (marl and sandstone flysch) with south/ south‑west exposure, reflecting the terroir’s minerality and the region’s winemaking heritage. 

On pour it shows a straw‑yellow colour with greenish highlights. On the nose: fresh and inviting aromas of white flowers, citrus, pear, Golden apple, and delicate hints of white‑flesh peach, followed by the classic almond‑bitter note typical of Friulano. On the palate, it’s soft yet lively, showing balanced acidity, a clean mineral‑tinged character, a smooth medium body, and a persistent, elegant finish with that signature almond after‑taste. 

Flavour Profile: White flowers, citrus (lemon or soft citrus peel), pear & apple, white‑flesh peach, subtle almond bitterness, clean minerality, balanced acidity, smooth and lingering finish. 
Alcohol Content: ~ 13% vol. 
Bottle Size: 750 mL

Ideal for: Serve slightly chilled (~ 10–12 °C). Excellent as an aperitif; pairs beautifully with seafood, shellfish, fresh vegetable dishes, light pasta, soft cheeses — but also holds up nicely with traditional regional pairings (e.g. prosciutto or cured meats from Friuli) for a balanced, versatile white.
